Ireland Manufacturing Output, Turnover Decline In May

(RTTNews) - Thursday, Ireland’s Central Statistical Office said in a report that the manufacturing production dropped 4.3% year-over-year in May. On a monthly basis, manufacturing production increased 1.3% in May, after falling 4.5% in April.

For the March to May period, manufacturing production grew 2.3% compared to the previous three month period.

Meanwhile, manufacturing turnover declined 10% year-on-year in May, compared with a 4.6% increase in the previous month. On a monthly basis, manufacturing turnover dipped 11.6%.
