Finland Building Costs Decline In June

(RTTNews) - Friday, the Statistics Finland said in a report that the building cost index dropped 1.7% annually in June. Compared to the previous month, building costs were down 0.2%.

On an annual basis, other inputs costs declined 6%, while the materials costs fell 2.9%. However, labor costs rose 2.7%. Meanwhile, all types of buildings showed a drop in building costs.

On a monthly basis, while materials costs fell 0.3%, labor and other inputs costs remained unchanged. Moreover, with the exception of block of flats, where building costs remained flat, all other building types showed declines.
