Egyptian June Inflation Slows
(RTTNews) - Egypt’s annual inflation slowed to 9.9% in June from 10.2% in the previous month, official data showed on Thursday.
Food and beverages prices increased 12.2% annually in June, while clothing and footwear prices
rose 13.4%. Transport and communication charges were up 4.1%.
On a monthly basis, the consumer price index or CPI rose 0.4% in June.
