Norway May Industrial Output Drops Further

(RTTNews) - Tuesday, the Statistics Norway announced that the industrial production decreased a working day adjusted 7.8% year-over-year in May, compared with a 4% fall in the previous month.

On a monthly basis, industrial production declined a seasonally adjusted 3.1% in May, after falling 1.6% in April.

During the January to May period, industrial production dipped 2.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Meanwhile, the manufacturing production decreased 9.8% annually in May, after falling 10.6% in April. Month-on-month, manufacturing production dropped 0.7%, compared with a 1.4% fall in April. For the first five months of the year, manufacturing production dipped 6.6% over a year ago.
