Hungary Jan-Apr. Trade Surplus Improves

(RTTNews) - Friday, a report by the Hungarian Central Statistical Office said the trade surplus stood at EUR1.049 billion in the January to April period, up EUR718 million from the same period last year.

During the period, the total exports volume dropped 22.1% annually, while import volume was down 26%.

In value terms, exports fell 27.1%, while the imports declined 30.3% in the four months period.
