Macedonia Consumer Prices Decline In June
(RTTNews) - Wednesday, Macedonia’s State Statistical Office announced that the consumer price index or CPI dropped 1.7% year-over-year in June, compared with a 0.4% increase in the previous month.
On a monthly basis, the CPI declined 1.7% in June, after rising 1% in May.
During the January to May period, the CPI decreased 0.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Meanwhile, the retail price index dropped 2.4% annually in June, after falling 1.1% in May. Month-on-month, retail price index was down 0.5%. For the first six months of the year, retail prices dipped 0.9% over a year ago.
