Slovenia March Industrial Turnover, New Orders Fall Further
(RTTNews) - Wednesday, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said that industrial turnover dropped a working day adjusted 18.9% annually in March, after falling 24% in February.
Annually, manufacturing turnover slipped 7%, while mining and quarrying turnover declined 19%.
Month-on-month, industrial turnover rose 0.9% in March, following a l% drop in February.
In the first three months of the year, turnover was down 21.2% compared with the same period in the previous year.
Meanwhile, new orders plunged 40.5% year-on-year in March compared to a 26.6% drop in the preceding month. On a monthly basis, new orders fell 13.6% in March, reversing a 10% rise in February.
In the three months ended March, new orders slipped 35.9% from the corresponding period last year.
