Italian Current Account Deficit Shrinks In March

(RTTNews) - Italy’s current account deficit narrowed to EUR 2.27 billion in March from EUR 3.8 billion deficit in February and from EUR 6.3 billion deficit in the same month of the previous year, the Bank of Italy said Wednesday.

In March, capital account balance showed a surplus of EUR 396 billion compared with a EUR 103 billion deficit a year ago. Meanwhile, the financial account surplus shrank to EUR 3.6 billion from EUR 9.2 billion.
