Spanish Q1 GDP Fall Revised To 1.9%
(RTTNews) - Wednesday, the Spanish statistical office downwardly revised its first quarter gross domestic product or GDP to show a sequential contraction of 1.9% from an initial estimate of 1.8% fall. The economy contracted for the third consecutive quarter.
On an annual basis, the economy shrank 3% in the first three months of the year, slightly quicker than the previously estimated contraction of 2.9%, following a 0.7% decrease in the fourth quarter.
