Finland Job Vacancies Decline In Q1 - Job Vacancy Survey

(RTTNews) - Job vacancies in Finland dropped 43% year-over-year to 46,100 in the first quarter from 80,400 vacancies in the previous year, a report by the Job Vacancy Survey of Statistics Finland said Wednesday.

In the first quarter, 28,800 or 62% of the job vacancies were in private enterprises. During the period, the construction and manufacturing sector showed the largest decreases in vacancies, falling 83% and 65% respectively.
