Estonia Producer Price Inflation Eases In January

(RTTNews) - Friday, the Statistics Estonia announced that industrial producer price index or PPI rose 3.3% year-over-year in January, slower than the 5.2% rise recorded in the previous month.

Month-on-month, the producer price index dropped 0.5% in January, after falling 0.2% in December.

The export price index declined 1% on an annual basis in January, in contrast to a 1% fall in the previous month. On a monthly basis, export prices fell 0.9% in January, compared to the 0.5% decline in the previous month.

Import prices were down 4.6% annually in January, compared with 1.4% rise in the prior month. Import prices dipped 2.7% compared to the preceding month.
