Belgium Consumer Confidence Indicator Declines In February
(RTTNews) - Thursday, the National Bank of Belgium announced that the consumer confidence indicator stood at minus 24 in February, compared with a minus 20 in the previous month. A year ago, the index was minus 3.
In February, the indicator for the saving capacity of households decreased to 1 from 4 seen in the previous month. Meanwhile, the financial situation indicator of households fell to minus 2 from minus 1.
Further, the economic situation in Belgium over the next twelve months stood at minus 22 in February down from minus 16 in January. At the same time, the measure for unemployment rose to 73 from 68.
