French GDP Falls in Q4
(RTTNews) - French gross domestic product, or GDP, fell 1.2% in the fourth quarter from the third, the statistical office INSEE said late Thursday. In the third quarter, the economy grew 0.1%.
Households’ consumption expenditures accelerated 0.5%. Total gross fixed capital formation, or GFCF, slackened 1.1%, driven by the sharp drop of non-financial corporations’ GFCF. Exports fell 3.7%, whereas imports markedly weakened 2.2%.
