Bulgaria Consumer Price Inflation Slows In January

(RTTNews) - Friday, Bulgaria’s National Statistical Institute announced that the consumer price index or CPI rose 7.1% year-over-year in January, slower than the 7.8% rise recorded in the previous month.

Month-on-month, the CPI increased 0.8% in January, after falling 0.2% in December.

The harmonized index of consumer prices rose 6% on an annual basis in January, while it grew 0.5% compared to the previous month.
