Poland Current Account Deficit Widens In December
(RTTNews) - Thursday, the National Bank of Poland revealed in a report that the current account deficit stood at US$ 2.59 billion in December, widening from US$ 2.08 billion in November.
At the same time, the capital account surplus amounted to US$ 186 million, up from US$ 91 million recorded in the previous month.
The Financial account deficit stood at US$ 513 million in December, after the surplus of US$ 1.57 billion in November.
In 2008, the current account deficit totaled US$ 28.47 billion versus US$ 20.12 billion in 2007.
