Finland’s National Output Falls In October

(RTTNews) - Tuesday, a report by Statistics Finland said the national output fell a seasonally adjusted 1.1% month-on-month in October, in contrast to the revised 0.1% rise in September. Initially, the national output was reported to have risen 0.4% in September.

Year-on-year, the national output fell a working day adjusted 1.6% in October, reversing the 0.8% rise in September.

Among the sectors, output of the primary sector, which includes agriculture, forestry and fishery, declined a working day adjusted 10% year-on-year in October. Secondary production, which includes manufacturing and construction, fell 1%. Services production also slipped 1% in the month. The services sector includes trade, hotel and restaurant industries, transport and business activities as well as real estate, renting and research services, financial intermediation and insurance, and public services.
