Malta’s Registered Unemployed Decline In November
(RTTNews) - Monday, a report by the National Statistics Office of Malta said there were 6,600 registered unemployed persons in November, representing a decline of 23 persons from last year. In Malta alone, there were 5,869 registered unemployed persons.
Meanwhile, the registered jobless rate stood at 3.9% in July. The jobless rate for men stood at 4.4%, while it was 2.9% for women.
The long-term unemployment rate stood at 1.4%.
Among the age groups, the jobless rate for persons aged under 25 was 4.3%, while it stood at 3.8% for persons aged 45 and above.
