Iceland Consumer Price Inflation Rises In December
(RTTNews) - Monday, the Statistics Iceland announced that the consumer price index, or CPI rose 18.1% year-over-year in December, larger than the 17.1% rise recorded in the previous month. A year ago, the CPI was up 5.9%.
Month-on-month, the CPI increased 1.52% in December, after rising 1.7% in November.
Meanwhile, the CPI less housing cost climbed 20.7% over a year ago and it rose 1.71% on a monthly basis.
