Taiwan’s Jobless Rate Increases In November

(RTTNews) - Taiwan’s jobless rate increased to a seasonally adjusted 4.62% in November from 4.29% in October, results of the data from the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting, and Statistics showed Monday. Analysts expected the jobless rate to come in at 4.5%.

On an unadjusted basis, the jobless rate rose to 4.64% in November from 4.37% in the previous month.

The labor force decreased 0.03% month-on-month in November, and fell 0.1% from the year-ago period. The seasonally adjusted labor force participation rate dropped slightly to 58.32% from 58.33% in October.
