Estonia Producer Price Inflation Slows Slightly in November

(RTTNews) - Monday, the Statistics Estonia announced that the producer price index, or PPI rose 6.2% year-over-year in November, slightly slower than the 6.3% recorded in the previous month.

In November, manufacturing producer prices grew 3.9% on an annual basis, while mining prices were up 7.9%. Energy supply prices surged 33.3%.

On a monthly basis, the PPI remained unchanged in November, after rising 0.8% in October. During the period, manufacturing producer prices dipped 0.2%.

Meanwhile, the export price index rose 2% year-on-year in November, while the import price index grew 2.1%. Month-on-month, export prices and import prices declined by 0.8% and 4.5%, respectively.
