Estonia’s Industrial Output Continue to Decline in October

(RTTNews) - Tuesday, the Statistics Estonia announced that the industrial production declined a working day adjusted 11% year-over-year in October, after falling 3.8% in September. This was the biggest decline of the year, thus far.

On a monthly basis, industrial output dropped a seasonally adjusted 5% in October, in contrast to the 0.5% rise recorded in the previous month.

Meanwhile, manufacturing production decreased 10.2% year-on-year in October, compared with the 3.2% decline in the preceding month. This decline was mainly due to the insufficient market demand. At the same time, mining and quarrying production dipped 23.3%.

Month-on-month, manufacturing and mining and quarrying production declined by 4.6% and 2.5% respectively.
