(RTTNews) - Colombia’s consumer price index was up 0.28 percent on year, the government’s DANE statistics agency said on Monday, coming in slightly higher than the 0.27 percent annual increase that analysts had been expecting.

Inflation was 0.47 percent higher on year in November 2007.

For the period of the 12 months to November, inflation was up 7.73 percent on year compared to the 5.41 percent annual increase in the 12 months to November 2007.
