Indonesian Consumer Price Inflation Slows In November

(RTTNews) - Monday, a report by Statistics Indonesia said consumer prices rose 11.68% year-on-year in November, at a slower pace compared with the 11.77% rise in October. Most economists expected consumer prices to rise 11.6%.

Food prices rose 18.02%, while prices of utilities climbed 10.91%. Most other sub categories showed an increase in prices.

Month-on-month, consumer prices rose 0.12% in November, reflecting a 0.18% rise in prices of food, beverages, tobacco and cigarettes. Prices of most other sub groups increased, but prices of transport communication fell 0.06% among others.
