Producer Price Report Tops New Zealand/Australia Data Calendar

(RTTNews) - A look at price trends for manufacturers and other goods producers in New Zealand opens Tuesday’s economic data calendar for the Australia-NZ region.

Statistics NZ provides its report on producer prices for the third quarter of 2008 at 21:45 GMT. The data for Q2 showed a 5.6 percent increase in input prices and a 3.5 percent increase in output prices, compared to the quarter before.

In Australia, National Australia Bank releases its October report on business confidence and business conditions at 00:30 GMT. The September report showed a drop of eight points in the forward-looking Business Confidence Index and a one point decline in the Business Conditions Index.
