Japan September Wholesale Prices Up 6.8% On Year
(RTTNews) - Prices for Japan’s wholesale-level production increased rose at a slower pace in September than in the previous two months.
The Bank of Japan reported Tuesday that the domestic Corporate Goods Price Index increased 6.8 percent on year in September, compared to on-year increases in August and July.
The July increase of 7.3 percent was the highest in 27 years.
The September report showed the CPGI decreased 0.4 percent from the month before.
On average, market analysts had forecast an increase of 6.6 percent on year for September.
