Japan Corporate Inflation Due on Tuesday

(RTTNews) - Japan is scheduled to release September numbers for its domestic corporate goods price index on Tuesday, along with consumer confidence data, headlining a light day in Asian economic news.

On a monthly basis, CGPI is expected to decline 0.6 percent after a 0.1 percent fall in August. On year, the index is called higher by 6.6 percent following a 7.2 percent annual increase in the previous month. Consumer confidence is expected to post a score of 29.9 in September after reading 30.5 in August. Household consumer confidence stood at 30.1 in the previous month.

South Korea will announce September data for its import and export price indexes. Exports posted a reading of 21.9 in August, while imports saw a score of 42.6 in the previous month.
