Building Permit Report Tops Aussie-NZ Economic Agenda

(RTTNews) - A look at New Zealand’s pending construction activity in July tops Friday’s economic data docket for the Aussie-NZ region.

Statistics NZ releases its report on July building permits at 22:45 GMT. Building permit values for June posted a 20.1 percent on-month decline.

Across the Tasman, traders get a report on July private sector credit in Australia. In June, private sector credit rose 0.4 percent from the month before and was 11.7 percent higher for the full year to June. Analysts are forecasting the on-month increase to rise to 0.5 percent for July, while the full year figure increase is predicted to shrink to 11.1 percent.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics publishes the credit report at 01:30 GMT.
