Food Price Report Tops Aussie-NZ Economic Agenda

(RTTNews) - Monday brings a light docket of economic data releases for the Australia-New Zealand region.

Traders get a look at food prices in New Zealand. Statistics NZ releases its July Food Price Index at 22:45 GMT.

In June, the Food Price Index showed an overall increase of 1.3 percent over the month before, led by a 5.2 percent rise in fruit and vegetable prices. For the full year to June, food prices rose 8.2 percent.

Australia’s economic data calendar is clear for Monday.
