Japan Crude Import Volume +2.8% on Year in July
(RTTNews) - The volume of crude imports in Japan was up 2.8 percent on year in July, the Ministry of Finance reported on Thursday, standing at 20.3 million kiloliters.
The crude import bill jumped 69.1 percent on year in July, the data showed, worth 1.794 trillion yen.
July imports of naphtha and gasoline were up an annual 9.7 percent to 2.23 million kiloliters, while imports of LNG added 7.6 percent on year to 6.06 million tons. Coal imports climbed 5.4 percent on year in July to 17.5 million tons, the report said.
