Foreigners Net Buyers Of Japan Stocks Last Week
(RTTNews) - Foreign residents reversed recent course and became net buyers of Japan stocks last week.
The Ministry of Finance reported Thursday that foreigners purchased a net 43.8 billion yen worth of Japan equities for the week ending August 10.
Foreigners were net purchasers of Japan bonds and notes for the third straight week last week, buying a net 504.6 billion yen worth.
Japan residents, meanwhile, were net sellers of foreign stocks last week for the second straight week, having dumped a net 53.4 billion yen worth of equities.
Japan residents were net buyers of foreign bonds and notes after two previous weeks of being net sellers. Japan residents bought a net 620.1 billion yen in foreign bonds and notes for the week.
