You transfer money to the card via direct deposit, online or at certain retailers, and you can use the card anywhere MasterCard or Visa debit is accepted.
The Mango MasterCard Prepaid Card, issued by Horizon Bank, is one of the prepaid cards with the lowest fees in the US. Here we do a detailed review of this card, and tell you what we like and dislike about this prepaid debit card.

Our Least Favorite Things About This Card
A debit card doesn’t help build your credit history. If you want a credit card that helps you build credit, you can apply online for the Orchard Bank Visa Classic Credit Card (read our review of Orchard Bank Visa Classic Credit Card) – an actual credit card issued by Capital One Bank which you can apply for even if you have bad credit or no credit history.
$2 ATM withdrawal fee. Each time you withdraw your money from an ATM, you will have to pay a $2 fee.
$4.95 fee to load cash at retailers with the Green Dot MoneyPak.
$5 monthly account fee. Even if this card has no “annual fee”, this monthly fee is equivalent to paying a $60 annual fee when you add up all the monthly fees you would have to pay. The good thing is that if you load at least $500 onto your card every month, this monthly fee will be waived.
