Fear vs. Complacency In Put To Call Ratio

This chart of the put to call ratio shows how the put to call ratio moves from fear to complacency.  Currently, the indicator is suggesting that many market participants are very complacent and as a result have a relatively large number of calls versus puts on the market.  You can see how this situation was vastly different in March of this year as the Put/Call ratio was at 1.35 versus the current .56 level.
