European Economics Preview: Eurozone Industrial New Orders Report Due

(RTTNews) - Monday, the Eurozone industrial new orders data is the only main statistical report expected from Europe.

Danish consumer sentiment for August is due from the Statistics Denmark at 3.30am ET. The index stood at minus 3.2 in July.

At 5.00am ET, the Eurostat is set to issue the industrial orders data for June. Eurozone industrial new orders are forecast to rise 1.6% month-on-month in June, following a 0.2% fall in May. On a yearly basis, economists forecast 28.6% decline.

In the meantime, Icelandic wage details are due from the Statistics Iceland. Wages had increased 3% year-on-year in June.

At 8.00am ET, the Hungarian central bank is set to announce its interest rate decision. The central bank is widely expected to cut the base rate by 50 basis points to 8%.
