European Economics Preview: German Retail Sales Forecast To Fall

(RTTNews) - Wednesday, German retail sales and Purchasing Manager’s survey results are due.

At 2.00am ET, the Federal Statistical Office is scheduled to issue German retail sales for May. On a yearly basis, retail sales are forecast to drop 1.5% annually versus 0.8% in April.

Thereafter, Purchasing Managers survey results are due from the major eurozone economies.

At 4.30am ET, the British index of services for three months to April is expected from the statistical office. The index had declined 1.2% in three months to March.
