US Dollar Given A Strong Boost Today

The USD is just off session highs across the board as several comments this morning have given the currency a strong boost. As scrutiny regarding the USD remaining the reserve currency has drawn mixed opinions and thoughts across the globe, the OECD’s Gurria along with the Russian Central Bank reaffirmed the currency’s status while a Japanese senior Ministry of Finance official noted that this key issue will likely not be a focus of the G20.
