Forex Trading: USD/JPY Getting Hit Hard After Option Expiration

By Greg Michalowski on January 21, 2009 | More Posts By Greg Michalowski | Forex News By FXDD

The USD/JPY has just moved sharply lower post the 10:00 AM option expiration period.  The pair moved down from 90.16 to 89.36 in a few minutes time.  The 100 hour MA is at the 90.23 level currently. This kept a top on the pair before the sell off ensued.  The low for the day prior to this move was 89.62.  This level and 89.75, close from yesterday, will be eyed as short term resistance.
