European Economics Preview: Eurozone PMI Data Due
(RTTNews) - Friday, the Flash Purchasing Managers’ Index, or PMI for both manufacturing and service sectors of major Eurozone economies are due.
At 2.45am ET, the French consumer spending data is expected from the statistical office INSEE. Consumer spending is forecast to fall 0.5% month-on-month in October compared with September’s 0.6% rise.
The release of the Flash Purchasing Managers’ Index reports for major Eurozone economies is set to start at 3.00am ET. The first one expected to hit the wires is the Flash French PMI for both manufacturing and service sectors. Thereafter, the Flash German and Eurozone PMI data are also due.
At 3.30am ET, the Dutch consumer spending report is due from the Statistics Netherlands. Spending had dropped 1.9% year-on-year in August.
Afterwards, the Italian statistical office, ISTAT is set to issue retail sales report at 4.00am ET. Retail sales are predicted to fall 0.2% in September from the previous month. In August, retail sales had declined 0.5%.
In the meantime, the Statistics Norway is slated to release international reserves and foreign currency liquidity details for October.
