Another week of earnings report marathon is here. While the majority of the companies are not really market movers, there are a few big names with the focus on the energy sector.  In particular, we are going to get a sense of how profitable energy giants such as ConocoPhillips (COP) and Exxon Mobil (XOM) are.

On the economic front, we are going to see the progress of the housing sector as well as a preview of the jobs market via initial and continuing jobless claims data.

Thursday: Initial/Continuing Jobless Claims

Friday: Personal Income/Person Spending/PCE/CorePCE Spending (inflation measure), Chicago PMI
